Specialist in pediatrics and dedicated to pediatric gastroenterology for more than 25 years. Full member of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. I work at the Son Espases University Hospital coordinating the pediatric gastroenterology unit.

I am also an associate professor at the UIB in the subject of practical clinical pediatrics. Since I was studying medicine in Soria and Zaragoza, I have liked pediatrics, dealing with children and their families, which is very different from dealing with adults. And while I was training as a pediatrician at the Son Dureta Hospital, I discovered pediatric gastroenterology. An exciting pediatric subspecialty that covers both digestive problems and those of the liver and nutrition. And that also includes techniques such as digestive endoscopies.

In order to be able to treat gastrointestinal diseases, it is important for the family to be able to act quickly and without long waits and also to have time to see the patient. At “Espacio Jorge” we have achieved this with fairly immediate assistance and sufficient time for the consultation.

Among the digestive problems that we can assess are constipation, chronic abdominal pain, cases of diarrhea, gastroesophageal reflux, Helicobacter pylori infection, chronic hepatitis, lactose or other sugar intolerance, gluten intolerance, etc.
